Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Skina mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Skina, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Description
Skina is an AI-powered skin analysis application. It uses your device camera to capture photos of your face, analyzes your skin across multiple zones using artificial intelligence, and provides a skin health score, zone-by-zone breakdown, and personalized ingredient recommendations.
The App stores all analysis results locally on your device. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers.
3. Medical Disclaimer
Skina is designed for informational and educational purposes only. The content provided by this app, including skin analysis results, ingredient recommendations, and routine suggestions, does NOT constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Skina is not a substitute for professional medical advice from a dermatologist or other qualified healthcare provider. Always consult a dermatologist or healthcare professional for any skin concerns, conditions, or before starting any new skincare regimen. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this app.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for granting camera access required for the App to function.
- You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of personal skin analysis.
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its services.
- You will not use the App to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or illegal.
- You acknowledge that AI analysis results are approximations and should not replace professional advice.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Skina offers 2 free skin scans. For unlimited access, you may subscribe to Skina Pro:
- Skina Pro Monthly — Unlimited scans, personalized recommendations, progress tracking, priority support.
- Skina Pro Yearly — Same features at a discounted annual rate.
All subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store In-App Purchases:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your device's account settings (Apple ID settings or Google Play subscriptions).
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, AI models, branding, and materials in Skina are the property of Skina and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Skina is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the AI analysis will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
- We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
